INVISIBLE designed by Francesc Vilaró for GROK by LEDS-C4 has been awarded with the German Design Award 2016, honoured by the international jury of the German Design Council. That achievement is confirming the excellent welcome our luminaire is having among design professionals.

The above mentioned design award, established in 2012, is considered to be one of the most prestigious ones in the area of design, aiming at appraising the work achieved by its participants in the areas of product and communication design. A jury of 35 experts from the fields of business, science and the design industry has been chosen to concede that valuable award to INVISIBLE by highlighting its iconic personality, versatile design, lighting quality and because it is able to materialise light.

Over 3,400 submissions from around the world have been received and 42 distinctions have been awarded to different categories, from which the Excellent Product Design distinction for ceiling lights has been awarded to the GROK novelty by LEDS-C4.

“The German Design Award 2016 is with no doubt an excellent piece of news for LEDS-C4, whose bet for innovation becomes patent in every product designed, developed and manufactured for more than 140 countries all over the world”, states Mr. Oriol Sala, the brand Marketing responsible.

That is the first renowned award achieved by the luminaire designed by Francesc Vilaró for GROK by LEDS-C4. Actually, that award means “a prestigious recognition to a very good work being made by all the team involved in the project, and also a confidence injection in order to undertake new challenges with plenty of illusion”.

Francesc Vilaró has made use of the LED technology to achieve higher energy efficiency and to really reduce the luminaire corporeal nature by conceding prominence to what really matters: light. “The INVISIBLE essence is precisely the main reason for the luminaire to be. Its design aims at getting mixed in many several contexts and at lasting over fashions”, he highlighted.
