Government announces £6m funding for energy reduction projects – Ignite Energy appointed as Project Aggregator

The Department for Energy & Climate Change recently announced a substantial fund to help large energy users reduce their consumption, particularly during peak demand winter hours. Ignite Energy is pleased to say that they have been approved as a delivery partner and is waiting to speak to companies who are thinking of running energy reduction projects.

The money being made available is designed to help reduce peak time generation demand during the most expensive period for the national energy grid and has qualifying criteria on timing and measurement. Measurement options available include deemed, sub-metering and main site metering. Ignites’ in-house IPMVP team can ensure compliance and advise on the most cost effective route.

Initial projects need to be put forward by October 15th 2015 so anyone interested in discussing how we could help should visit us at this networking event, get in touch via email to rob@igniteenergy.co.uk or call one of the numbers below.
